Edward, can you flesh out your question? "Major coffee beans?" For a view of current variety of greens by origin, try Sweetmarias.com and follow any of the coffee links to read the notes.
If you are asking about a current crop from a specific country, if varies widely from from to farm, finca to finca, plantation to plantation.
Hi BoldJava, I will try to "flesh" it out. That sounds better than expound on it. I am probably asking too much but I am looking for something like a database that list coffee beans by country. Let say there is a list of the beans of Columbia that are sold on the market. It would have the numerical rating and cupping notes for each bean listed. I know Sweetmarias has what I am talking about but they only have it for the beans they carry. Most sites don't have as good of information on their beans as Sweetmarias but they have different beans than Sweetmarias. So I am looking for a site where I can find the information of a bean independent of the selling site. I hope that makes sense.
To my knowledge, there is no such thing available. There is so much coffee that is imported, including lot-to-lot variation on individual coop or finca crops, that such a task would be daunting, to say the least.
To add to that--despite all the "Scoring", cupping is subjective and each cupper's view can and does differ from his or her peers. Just look at the descriptions of Cup of Excellence coffees, for example. I've found my tastes to vary from many cuppers, and I always take vendor notes with a grain of salt.
Best bet is to cup cup cup and cup again, compare notes with other cuppers. Cup together, and compare notes afterward. Cup coffees offered and rated on sites, and compare notes. You can quickly get a feel for how your tastes relate to various folks, and can use that as a judge.
While you idea has merit theoretically, the execution problems would be difficult, and would require networking of lots of folks. Could be done in this age of network, but it would require lots of effort and coordination--and I don't really see the market that would support such an undertaking, unless someone altruistic took it upon themselves to make it happen.

Thanks guys for your comments. I guess I will just have to research the beans I am interested in and then find the best price. Thanks, for the coffee snobs link also.
Sad day, our dear Micheal Guterman passed away last week. Many of you know him from Sweet Maria's and his notorious pens lists! Our prayers to his family.
