Fantastic concepts! I love the idea of perforations and airflow through the beans. I've considered perforating the hopper in my breadmaker to allow the same airflow.

I do have one question about your sitrrer. From the picture, it looks like the thin cross section stirs the beans instead of the large flat part (see diagram). Does it mix the beans well?
