One thing I see that can cause temperature lag problems is the mounting nut next to the sensor tip (TC at heater discharge).

If the nut is touching the TC tip metal it can create a thermal mass and take a while to respond. Does the disparity continue when leaving the temperature consant for a few minutes?

Best practice is to have a bare TC with nothing touching it.

Is the BT TC also not bare and including a mounting nut?
