1/4 Pounder Posts: 152 Joined: January 05, 2009	Dave, great link! I'd never seen that one before. I'd get lots of extra points for grounds on my nose! One question, "How long do you let the hot water sit in the grounds before you break the crust, remove the grounds, and then finally slurp? I have let them sit for a couple minutes as I smell before working the grounds. I've had some say, "That's too long?" What's your practice? Jim "How we treat our children determines who we are!"

They suggest tasting 10 different apples, blindly, and taking notes. Discipline. If you aren't naturally curious, there is no need to cup. Just buy what others recommend. On the other hand, if you are the Indiana Jones of the brown bean, search out or start a cupping group in your area. Think inclusively. Here is a series of webpages from Mark Prince I hadn't seen before. It is more formal than I typically "cup." Takes time. Good read.
