Quote The major difference from this scale and others on the market is that is is "Precise" to .01oz or 5 grams! Mine are in increments of 0.01 grams I dont use them any more KK I home roast and I like it. Designer of the KKTO

I'm using this http://www.amazon...oh_product digital scale. Works fine. Cost me $25 -- Amazon's current price may be an error.

I have a pretty decent one I bought in December that is accurate to 1 g. It ok but since i brewone cup(16oz) at a time, I would like to but one accurate to 1/10th gr. if my credit card balances ever get low enough.

These guys have a good selection at very reasonable prices. I bought a cheap digital scale from them several years ago and it has worked well for me. might help if I actually included the link, eh? http://www.americanweigh.com/ Edited by Catt22 on 07/04/2009 12:34 AM |

Orphan Espresso http://www.orphan...4999fd7bcc I like this scale very much. It's small and fits in the coffee cupboard quite nicely. And quite inexpensive at $19.50. But don't drop it... I like it so much, I'm about to order a replacement... John Edited by John Despres on 07/03/2009 4:11 PM Respect the bean.

When I got to the Orphan Espresso site, I opted instead for the slightly more expensive model, same size. My new one comes with a calibration weight, so it will be dead nuts on every time. I should have it in a couple days. Report coming. Edited by John Despres on 01/21/2010 4:50 PM Respect the bean.

I just need a scale for measuring out half pounds for roast. Is that digi dosing scale overkill for me? Would I do just as well with a simpler model? |

I'm digging my new Escali from Orphan Espresso a lot. Clifford, you could use it to weigh out your roasted beans for the brewer as well. John Respect the bean.

Looks like a good all rounder set of scales smatty Just make sure the loose parts are dishwasher safe and the scales are easy to store away when not in use (keep the box for storage) B) KK I home roast and I like it. Designer of the KKTO
