I have a line on a fully automated ir12 dedritch that caught fire and is being sent to scrap but the insurance. operationally its 90% it needs the blower impeller replaced and a few melted wires. There is some heat damage to the paint in the chaff cabinet down below. The automation is 100% fine as its in a different cabinet and all the motors are working. The drum and insides would have to be soda blasted to remove the smell and soot but i believe it would a relatively easy repair. Whats it worth fixed?, is it worth spending 1000$ + on parts and refurbishment? or should i let it go to the dump. |
