Thermocouple Type for TC4/Arduino???

1 1/2 Pounder Posts: 634 Joined: April 13, 2012	I have a Type K thermocouple probe lying around as well as a couple RTD thermocouple probes -- are these interchangeable/compatible with the TC4 & Arduino combo?

Administrator Posts: 2511 Joined: September 30, 2016	RTD only with some hardware and firmware changes. Type K is a direct fit. A terminology notice: RTD (Resistance Temperature Detectors) is not a thermocouple, different principles. One is variable resistance, the other is a voltage generator.
