Bargain wireless dual thermometer

Not sure how many of you heard or are familiar with the Massdrop concept, but they have right now running for more five days a dual wireless thermometer offer, featuring also 10 timers, with own display, but also same info available remote via an app:

Looks like a nice cheap starting solution for monitoring roasting temperatures.
For hardcore hackers, if uncasing reveals a small enough board, able to operate without display, could be a hack for Gene roaster BT measurement Grin
I can think even to a logger interface, because there is an Android API for screen captures.

I know this thread is dated but renatoa, did you ever buy one of these.? If so, did it work as advertised? I just bought one on the Bay for $17 because of damaged packaging. Anxious to try it out.

Nope, didn't. Was just a headsup for non-tech guys, already plenty of stuff here.

However, the actual Amazon price of $69 is not encouraging... it cost you less than $40 for a TC4 compatible solution.
