And here's an actual roast with 1kg of a Sumatran Mandheling. Started off with 60% loft power and then dropped to 50% when the heater came on. Very good continuous bean movement and because the pressure loss occurs a few inches from the plate, you can hear that the beans didn't hit the deflector with much force which was unplanned but great. How did it work? I am having a hard time getting a good flow with the beans, some don't roast, others burn.
